Lab Animal Management Software Integration:
RapID Lab & tick@lab Take Only 90 Seconds to Integrate

Integrating state of-the-art systems in a modern research lab doesn’t have to be complicated. RapID Lab and a-tune proved that at this year’s National AALAS meeting by integrating RapID Lab’s scannable barcode mouse ear tags can be integrated with a-tune’s tick@lab Lab Animal Management platform in 90 seconds.

After meeting at a-tune’s booth at the AALAS Trade Show, it took only 90 seconds from connecting and configuring the RapID Lab scanner to configuring tick@lab to show the desired ID fields in the relevant modules and to scan the first (squeaky toy) mice.

Bringing these two systems together provides lab animal technicians and lab managers with a host of benefits without the lengthy integration challenges that can frustrate users and drive up study costs.

With RapID Lab’s RapID Tags and tick@lab integrated, it’s easy for technicians to quickly scan a mouse ear tag barcode and have the data synced to the tick@lab system. This gives lab managers the confidence that the study data is free from human error and increases the productivity of the lab.
